The Governance Gap Assessment
The gap is not between systems. It is between what your systems report and what your business has actually decided to accept as true.
Six dimensions
Each dimension is examined through your own numbers and your own systems. Nothing is scored, ranked or indexed. The output is a written description of where authority is missing and what it costs.
The Five Contested Numbers
Bring the five numbers your leadership team argues about most. They differ by portfolio; common candidates are occupancy, agency and overtime hours, acuity or level-of-care mix, revenue per occupied unit, and turnover. For each one, the assessment answers six questions in writing.
Five numbers, six questions each, is thirty written answers. In most portfolios the majority of them cannot be answered from a document. That result is the assessment.
Assess the gap before you automate on top of it.
AI does not resolve disagreement between systems; it answers with equal confidence either way. The governance work comes first.
